Leadership That Delivers Results for Our Community

As a Legislator, Chris has worked to sustain our public transit system, grow the county’s participation in local and regional economic development, advocate for low-income renters, and facilitate the funding of local and regional arts and educational programs.


As chair of the Finance committee (‘18-’19), Clinton County was able to reduce the tax rate to the lowest rate since 2010. As the chairperson of the Economic Development and County Operations Committee (‘16-’18, ‘20), the County was able to hire their first Economic Development Director. Chris has championed efforts for increased tourism, workforce development, and local college enrollment.

In addition to Chris’ legislative appointments, he serves on several boards and tasks forces.  He's is the Head Coach for SUNY Plattsburgh's Women’s Rugby team and referees rugby both in the US and Canada. Chris co-owns a business with his partner Tracy.

Chris lives in the City of Plattsburgh with his partner Tracy, their son Miles, and their dog Rizzo.
